FYI. I included my recompiled Java code in Neo 1.2 Alpha "Patch-7". So, please install "Patch-7" when you get a change and if the hanging reoccurs, please open a new bug in Bugzilla.

Now Neo 1.2b patch 4 frooze. I can not describe the circumstances exactly, because I had been away from my iBook for a while. As far as I can reconstruct it, I had several writer documents opened one of wich was a long one (498 pages), and printed a "vorlage" (=.stx, i do not know the correct english expression as I use a german version of Neo), then, without realizing the freeze I had to leave for a while. The iBook went to "sleep. Usually none of this points brings any problems. But when I came back to my desk, Neo was frozen.
Is this the freeze-after-printing problem again?

This type of data belongs in Bugzilla and posted as attachments. Copying and pasting such sample logs into a forum strips out all formatting in the original sample file and renders the sample impossible to read.

Can you please delete the NeoOffice.app in your applications folder, delete or move the NeoOffice-1.x folder in ~/Library/Preferences and reinstall NeoOffice from a FRESH download of NeoOffice1.2 final? It may sound strange but I believe that your problems may arrise from upgrading the Beta to the Final. Not that I don't trust Patrick's abilities to write and produce a proper patch, but I do doubt the abilities of Mac OS X to properly apply them.

Actually, I can now confirm both types of freezing with some regularity. They are due to bug 1298 which I thought that I had fixed in Patch-1 but apparently I have not.

If Orgleser can add themselves to the CC: list in that bug, they will get notified when I post a test patch with more fixes.

James: Actually I did not use the Patch 0 for Upgrading from Beta but did a fresh dl of the whole thing. I tried Installing and it just upgraded. Should I try a reinstall?

Btw: I am only one person named Thomas. Orgleser is a screen i use for working with Neo and other lists.

I would do another download, but if the first copy was munged the install should not complete. At this point I suggest just deleting and re-installing to see if the problem 'resolves itself'. However, if it does not, please send in the logs and if Patrick requested, the contents of your NeoOffice 1.x put it in your BugZilla entry.

Hopefully, we can locate the source of your problem and fix it without breaking anything else (this is not always possible.)

For a long time everything went well especially with Neo1.2 patch 4. I did not have to do a reinstall or thelike - it just worked. Now the freeze reoccured (last change I made to my OS was security update 2006-1), I filed bug1353.

I haven't encountered any issues that are due to the security patch with 1.2p4. I'll try to take a looksie if I get some time.
