I'm using NeoOffice 2 alfa 2 patch 0 test 5 for PowerPC. italian localization.
As expected, when you write a word with a wrong spelling NeoOffice marks it with a waving underline.
If you write after that word in the same line the underline remain, but if you p"ress enter-key" to start a new line after that word the waving-underline disappeare, even if if you press right-mouse- the list of possible correction is shown.
Then, if you press the backspace to cancel the new line or you scroll to hide that pert of the text and than scroll back, the waving underline reappers.
(hope you understand what I mean)..

I used to see this happen in OOo X11 as well...the problem is that when the new line starts OOo erases the background of that line and any descending inline spellcheck graphics that descend into that line get blotted out. You may see a couple remnants left in the line above it. I believe the problem is more that line height takes into account only the font and line spacing information but not ancillary graphics elements overlaid on it (as it should, really). IIRC it's something systemic to OOo that's language independent and probably not too easily fixed, but I may be wrong. Anyone else have other thoughts?

Do you have some attack robots I could send to get it back? I think I may need some that can run over 15 miles.
