It is because the version 6 of ImageMagick is missing some libraries and as bugs, so I still use the version 5.5.7 for Jaguar that worksperfectly well until now.

Just a note : I can't speak for Patrick, but once folks find an icon set they like, I do still have the portions of the Neo/J build system needed to integrate a tarball of alternative icons in the Ximian style format into the Neo/J build.

I had been working on icons with the old 1.0.3 codebase right after I did Brand-X (OOo X11 w/Ximian patches), but at that time Ximian's work required source code changes in addition to icons that could not be easily integrated. I haven't looked at it since and don't have time right now to play with icons with the NMF work, but I can help out with integrating them into a stock Neo/J build if you guys & Patrick agree on a set.

Even if we don't have the aqua buttons, I still think that better icons make the program look a lot better for Mac users Smile

That's right OpenStep, the stock icons full of colors will make NeoOffice really more attractive than the actual windows 95 style icons Smile

The set I have post before is from Ximian 1.1 source code, you'll see there's even somewhere the splash screen of Ximian OOo Smile

Bonjour/nuit,

Well, I played for many hours, tried about 20 different sets, photoshopped an icons or two and I finally made a decent one. Unfortunately I have nowhere to post it, so if you would like me to send it to you, let me know.

I also noticed, using the genbar.tcl script and the supplied icons, that there are a number of icons which are not changed and are apparently misreferenced in the csv mapping file. There are also a good number which were never replaced.

But still, I feel much happier with the look I have. Thanks for all the tips. If you have the ximian icons (preferably at 22x22), I'd be happy to incorporate them where appropriate and pretty, now that I have got the hang of it.

Au revoir,
Oscar

Hi Oscar,

I would like to see your icons!

Would you be so kind and send them to bernhard.gansinger@gmx.at?

Thanks,
gansi
