|
Since 3.1.1 patch 2 or since today the grid over the special character table is shifted.
I choose Insert / special character and I get the rectangular table with the special characters in the different fonts. There is a grid with 16 columns and many rows. There I choose for instance the cell with the "–" and "OK" then the "–" is insterted in my document wherever the cursor is.
Now the grid (the lines forming the rows and columns of this table) is shifted; the characters are not in the cell where they belong. To select the "–" for instance I have to select the cell 1-2 celly below the cell with the "–" (otherwise I'll get a "§").
I have already exited NeoOffice and started again, but the failure remains. _________________ servus, tschau, bye

This has already been (re)reported at the tail end of a similar thread in the Early Access forum.
Patrick has opened bug 3578 to track the fix.

I also have a test patch available that fixes the bug in this post.

FYI. The fix for this bug has been included in NeoOffice 3.1.2 which can download it from the NeoOffice download page.
