Every time I try to print any NeoOffice Writer document it causes NeoOffice to crash. I have attached the crash results.

From your crash log, it appears that the crash is occurring when OS X tries to load your printer's printing options. A few users saw this same type of crash when they upgraded to Yosemite last year and their machine had out of date printer driver software.

Can you do the following steps? This will help me identify what printer driver software your machine is using:

1. Launch the System Preferences application and click on the Printers & Scanners icon.

2. Select your printer and take a screen snapshot. To take a screen snapshot, use the step in the this link.

The same problem occurs if I try to print to the Toshiba copier also. Also, I did all of the suggested steps for El Capitan problems and then reinstalled from the Mac AppStore. Problem still there.

One more question: if you go to the /Applications folder in the Finder, launch the TextEdit application, enter some text in a new TextEdit, and then select the File > Print menu, does TextEdit crash?

In addition to the question in my last post, can you do the following steps?:

1. Quit NeoOffice

2. Go to the /Applications/Utilities folder in the Finder and launch the Terminal application.

3. Copy the following commands into the Terminal window and press the Return key:
Code:
defaults delete org.neooffice.NeoOffice ;
defaults delete org.neooffice.NeoOfficeSecureEdition

Does NeoOffice still crash when you try to print?

Sorry, but I unfortunately cannot answer this now. I had to do a restore back to Yosemite due to a tight time line on a project I had to finish. We were having similar problems with Office as well (also could not print), plus Outlook, Word and Excel crashing.

If Office was also crashing when printing, that makes me think that out of date or buggy printer driver software a likely cause.

I am glad to hear that you were able to revert back to Yosemite. If you try upgrading to El Capitan again sometime in the future and you get the same crashing, I would recommend trying the following 2 things:

1. Create a new user on your machine in the System Preferences application, login as that user, and run NeoOffice and Office. If neither crashes when printing, then the likely cause is somewhere in the existing user's preference files that El Capitan imported during the upgrade from Yosemite.

2. Check if your printer manufacturer has released updated printer driver software for your printer.

I hope the above helps.
