Hello!

I have a problem with the sum function!

I write down this sum (that works in excell):

=(((E1*0,4)*1,7)*9,34)+((E1*0,4)*9,34)

it doesnt say that something is wrong, it is just quiet and it doesnt calculate it. the formula just stands there like it was a number.

Why that complicated way? Wouldn't =E1*6,3512+E1*3,736 give the same result? And why do you need brackets at all?
