Is there any way to keep the table tool from popping up in a document that has a table in it? Every time I click in to the table up pops this moveable tool bar. Drives me nuts.
Thanks,

When the table toolbar pops up, drag and drop the title bar of the toolbar very close to an edge of the document window. The toolbar will appear when you click into a table, but it doesn't pop up anymore.

You might try the technique described on this page (scroll down a ways). I've not tried it myself, and the reports I've seen are mixed as to whether or not it works.

I don't want it (or anything) to appear on my doc at all... unless I click something to make it appear. Thanks.

Well I found out that I can drag it up to the other toolbar at top of screen and it will pop there when I click into the table. That's better than having it cover my document.

If I am not mistaken this is what Jacqueline suggested. Unfortunately, I don't think you can completely hide the Table toolbar in NeoOffice, so this trick is probably the best you can get |
