|
Greetings:
Using Neo 2.2.2. with patch 11. I have a graphic positioned as a character at the top of a long text document. No matter where the cursor is located, immediately after an auto-save it leaps to the top of the page where the graphic is located. Haven't tried it sans image but this effect is concern enough.
Thanks and keep up the the good work.

I think this is probably related to bug 2203, which is an OpenOffice.org bug. Unfortunately, the NeoOffice project does not have enough resources to fix OpenOffice.org bugs.

So how could we find resources to fix OpenOffice.org bugs. Anyone has any solution?

When Lorinda says "NeoOffice project does not have enough resources to fix OpenOffice.org bugs" the resources needed are full time engineers.
There are literally hundreds of OpenOffice.org bugs that our hundreds of thousands of users want fixed in addition to this bug. NeoOffice has only one full time engineer, Patrick, who works seven long days a week every week of the year. Ed helps when he can, but he already works a full time engineering job in addition to his NeoOffice work.
This is why we are forced to limit our scope: Patrick and Ed's time are completely saturated. Any expansion in scope would require users like you to donate an order of magnitude more than they have in the last few years to fund hiring full time engineers to implement the expanded scope.
Since Sun Microsystems funds OpenOffice.org and employs several dozen full time engineers devoted to OpenOffice.org, OpenOffice.org is in the best position to fix their bugs. After all, their engineers created these bugs in the first place.
