Cannot donate with paypal!

Have done my best to support the development of neooffice with a donation but last couple of times I have tried the payment has not worked in paypal. Worked in other sites so wonder if there is a problem...

This sounds like your are having problems with PayPal's site. All payment information that you make is being directly entered on PayPal's website, not our website. So, if you are having problems with PayPal, there really is not anything we can do other than hope that PayPal will get their site working soon.

BTW, I just got notification from PayPal that someone successfully completed a donation. So, it appears that the PayPal payment page that we link is working right now.

For a few years, I have tried occasionally to donate. Every time I try, I get a message, "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."

I don't get such messages from other vendors when I use this charge account to make payments.

PayPal has such an incompetent administrative system that I am not at all surprised. What surprises me is that nobody else has yet competed PayPal into oblivion.

While I agree that PayPal has its problem, I have my own set of problems with nearly every bank I have dealt with so let's accept that banks and bank like organizations can be difficult to deal with.

What I would like to explore further is if Hughk1's problem is now resolved or not. If it is not, can you tell us the following? This might help us find a workaround for you:

1. Are you selecting a preset donation amount from our donation form or are your select the "other amount" option?

2. Which language on our web pages are you seeing? English or a different language?

3. Are you logging into a PayPal account or using the PayPal page's credit card payment option?

4. If you are using the credit card option and you are not logging into a PayPal account, which country are you selecting in the address section of the form?
