no visible highlight selecting multiple table cells in Write

I made this simple document and when I select text in more than one cell in writer, the highlighting colour vanishes.

The cells seem to be selected just fine, but I can't see them.
I am using the NeoOffice 3.0.2 test build.

I can definitely reproduce this bug. I will investigate it further today.

I think that I have fixed this bug and I have uploaded a new NeoOffice 3.0.2 build. I found that the bug was caused by my fix for bug 3579. Can you install the new build and tell us if the bug is fixed for you?

If it is fixed, then I will release NeoOffice 3.0.2 to Early Access Program members tomorrow afternoon California time.

FYI. I have included the fix in NeoOffice 3.0.2 which we released today. Members and subscribers of the current NeoOffice Early Access Program can download NeoOffice 3.0.2 from the NeoOffice Early Access Program download page.

Another user reported a crashing bug that occurs in Writer's native text highlighting code. In order to fix that crashing bug, I had to make changes to the code that fixes this bug.

Can you install the following test patch and tell us if this bug is still fixed for you?:
