1. Doing a Get Info on NOJ shows a copyright statement in the Version: panel; however, there's no version info. If it wouldn't interfere significantly with development, it would be convenient to have the version number updated with each patch.
2. When NOJ is running, no black triangle is displayed in the dock. I think in the past it did show a black triangle, but I'm not sure. Curiously, in Classic, viewing the list of running applications (pop-down menu on the right side of the Classic menu bar) reports "soffice.bin", not "NeoOffice/J". Even more curiously, I have an OS X add-on which mimics that capability in OS X, and it lists "NeoOffice/J".

I can add this to the next patch very easily. Note, however, that even after you install a Neo/J, the Info.plist changes are not activated by Mac OS X until you reboot.

I always see the black triangle under under Neo/J icon in the dock. I think if an application takes too long to start, the Dock will stop waiting the the application to finish launching and it won't display the black triangle.
"soffice.bin" is showing because that is the name of the executable. Most Mac OS X applications name the executable file the same as the application name but since Neo/J is based on OOo, it still uses the OOo's "soffice.bin" for the executable name.
