This is a minor issue, which can wait to be corrected, but I thought I'd report it.

I have my forum account set up so that I get notified of new posts. Those e-mails always include the following statement (emphasis added):

[quote]You can use the following link to view the replies made, no more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.[quote]

This statement not withstanding, I continue to get notifications of new posts to the topic, even if I have not visited it.

On an active topic that I don't have anything significant to contribute or learn, I can end up with a large number of e-mails in my box. It's no big deal to sift through them, and I certainly understand if it's something that's not worth your time to fix.

Thanks again for all your hard work on Neo!

Lorinda

Right now, if you have enabled to "send e-mail for all new posts" option for your account, the Trinity website code does not look for topics that you have marked as "do not send me any more e-mails on this topic".

When I get some time, I will see if it is feasible to modify the website code to check for this flag.

I think that I have implemented this feature and the updated code is now on this site. However, please note due to limitations of the phpNuke code, posts to all topics will send e-mail to you and to stop e-mail for a topic, you will need to click on the "stop watching this topic" link in the topic or in one of the e-mails sent to you for that topic.

Let me know if you find any cases where this "notify all posts except for topics where stop watching has been selected" feature does not work.

Patrick
