FYI. Earlier this week, Apple announced the upcoming release of Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Although we have not yet evaluated any of the new features that will be in Mac OS X 10.8, we confirmed that NeoOffice 3.2.1 will install and run on Mac the latest Mac OS X 10.8 Developer Preview release.
In our quick tests, installing both NeoOffice 3.2.1 as well as the latest test patch works and, after installing the Java system update from Apple like is done on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, NeoOffice will launch. We did some light testing of printing, export to PDF, versions, and full screen mode and all appear to work.
We will continue to test NeoOffice on the latest Mac OS X 10.8 Developer Preview release and, as we find bugs, we will try to fix them in future NeoOffice 3.2.1 patches to ensure that NeoOffice will continue to work for users that upgrade to Mac OS X 10.8 whenever it is released by Apple.
