Grid lines display on my spreadsheet but I couldn't find any way to have them print. Actually, I want just the vertical ones to print, but I can't figure out any way to alter the fact that none of them print. This must be simple. Environment: Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). NeoOffice 3.2.1 Patch 5

Thanks, Lorinda. That's what I was missing. (I still don't see a way to print just vertical lines, but that's not critical at the moment.)
One way to add vertical lines between columns using border is to press the select the Edit :: Select All menu and then select the Format :: Cells menu. Like in Lorinda's steps, click on the Borders tab. But this time click on the area in the following screen snapshot that I have circled in red and press the OK button. Doing this should add a vertical border on the right edge of each cell in your spreadsheet.
