FYI, I understand that Apache OpenOffice replaced a lot of their drawing code. I don't know if you looked at any of it (I haven't) but I figured it might help if you are stuck with something.
I just downloaded OpenOffice.org 3.4.1 and nothing has changed that I can see. OpenOffice.org still has all of the same gradient drawing bugs that amayze and I found throughout this forum topic.
No matter though as I have already fixed the known gradient drawing problems.

Sorry to waste your time on this. I meant it is a backup.
No worries. It is good to double-check all of the gradient stuff that I have fixed. Over the last week I would fix one case and then, after preparing a test patch, find that the OpenOffice.org code has a whole separate set of code for another case so I definitely want to make sure that I did not miss any cases if at all possible.
If anyone finds a gradient (or any shape) that draws with jagged edges or the border around the gradient or shape does not match up, please let me know.

FYI. I have included the fixes for the blank black screen in the first slide when running a slideshow as well as all of the gradient drawing fixes when running a slideshow, printing, or exporting to PDF in NeoOffice 3.3 Patch 3. The patch can be downloaded from the NeoOffice 3.3 patch download page.
