A user reported that NeoOffice would hang when opening an .odb file from the OS X Dock. This bug would occur when you dragged an .odb file into the Dock and then opened the .odb file using either of the following steps:
Selecting the Dock icon's Open... menu item
Selecting the Dock icon's Options > Open at Login menu item and then rebooting or logging out and back in
I have fixed this bug and you do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get this bug fix. You can get the bug fix now by downloading and installing one of the following test patches:
After closer investigation of this bug, I now think that this bug is caused by my fix for this OS X El Capitan hanging bug so I reimplemented my fix for that hanging bug in the following test patches:
