Posted: Mon Sep 19, 2016 2:28 pm Post subject: Fix for freeze when unlocking Dropbox and iCloud documents
A user reported that NeoOffice would freeze when unlocking a Dropbox or iCloud document. If the document window's titlebar said that the document was "Locked" and you clicked on the "Locked" titlebar text, the freeze would occur when you unchecked the Locked checkbox in the popup window that appeared.
I have fixed this bug. This freeze was caused by a deadlock in our code that handles native file locking of Dropbox and iCloud files.
You do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get the fix. You can get the fix now by downloading and installing one of the following test patches:
