Excellent! The 6.x conversion is going to be somewhat tricky, I'll probably look to it after we get the slotlist.csv and understudies worked out. But 6.x has a few tricks I'm excited about.

I just finished an icons theme for the documents files.

I second Oscar's reserves concerning the pie chart and presentation icons not being too modern. I would also add that I don't like very much the idea of the old database icon, instead of a bookshelf or the like.

What I really like is the color scheme: white and clear blue - exactly as the Aqua interface. Easy on the eye, and very pleasant.

Well done!

Btw, although I haven't done anything with it yet, I took a look at the slotlist.csv file in TextEdit and noticed the following:

Code:
115,  allignment.png,             slot:10130, does not work!

Could that be because it is misspelt? That is, it should be alignment.png and not allignment.png??

Not really. If you give your picture that name (misspelled and all), it will be picked up. There's a couple in there that seem wrong. I worked over that spreadsheet (but not shared - Geocities refused to accept a file with .sxc) and there were a few points of divergence.

I hope (and trust) the new (Ximian) list is better. It is better organized anyway..

Actually I am not in my country, I don't have a fast internet connection, so I can't post for them yet. That will be possible maybe in around 1 month.

As will I. In the mean time I have started clowning around a bit myself. Nothing ready for showing off yet. The gnome icons wouldn't be so bad if they didn't all come with a black border. Too heavy for my taste.

I will report back here when I get a decent set. The object insert, zoom and form toolbars are giving me aesthetic pain still.

Au revoir,
Oscar

Thanks Oscar.

Sounds exciting, with a number of folk working on this. I find the gnome icons bland, alhough very neat and consistent. I must admit I am "eye candy" sort of user: why not have an attractive feature set loking back at you, as well as an effective program underneath?

So I've got about a week of free time on the horizion, either the end of this month or the start of the next. I might dill around with NeoIconer further, but was wondering if there was anything more useful I might be doing (from research to begging for MacTel machines.)

I've come to realize I'll never have the consisten free time to instigate and follow through an effort to create a dev team for toolbar icons, but I would gladly support any effort as I could. Including building special tools and solving other technical problems....

Hey everyone,

I haven't forgotten about this, but the process if slow, the set is not helping and in the last few weeks my new job and Neo/J release tasks have eaten up most of my time.

Oscar
