NeoOffice/J Aqua menu patch available for testing

 Ed cranked out a lot of code in the last week and, as a result, we now have Aqua menus working in NeoOffice/J! Since this is a major change (and the first step in the long process of Aquafying Neo/J), we need help testing this code.
It may be buggy and it may either crash or hang Neo/J. But if you would like to test the new Aqua menus, download instructions for the Aqua menu patch are available in the Neo/J Testing forum.
Since this code has not yet been fully tested, I do not recommend that you install the Aqua menu patch if you are using Neo/J for critical work. If you are doing critical work, I recommend that install the latest Neo/J 1.1 Alpha 2 non-Aqua menu patch from the NeoOffice/J download site.
I hope everyone likes the new menus. Also, special thanks go to Ed. He did all of the work to make this happen and I couldn't have done this work without him. |
