Curiosity: is still there this bug in neo 1.1.5?

1- I create a table called SAMPLE in database dbase (or other)
2- I put (for example) a field called DATE in date format
3- I open a calc new document
4- I write a date in a cell, for example 20/5/05
5- In the cell above i write DATE
6- I drag and drop the DATE cell and the 20/5/05 over the table icon in data source
7- In the window that appears I select to attach the datas to the SAMPLE table
8- In the next window I "connect" DATE cell to DATE field
9- the bug: the calc 20/5/05 is now in database as 22/5/05

This is a openoffice bug, all the date get 2 days in copy/paste, if the Calc file uses the standard date format instead the 'starcalc' format. I read something about a stariffice 7 patch, so I'd like to know if Oo has still have the bug.

If you find the time to test this, thank you, else do not worry!

I will check on this with the OOo 1.1.5 rc code and if necessary open a Issue with the OOo project.

Maybe I misunderstood what Fabrizio was trying to do, but when I drag a cell from a spreadsheet to a document, the date does NOT change. However I will create a table within that document and then drag and drop the DATE (text formatted cell) and the data onto that table.

Confirmed and it exists in the OpenOffice code as I have both installed here.

I will look at the OOo 2.0 releases.

I suggest opening an Issue at OpenOffice.org
