All:
As a part of my 'real' job, I am required to travel. It looks like I will be travelling starting October 24th and I don't have any idea when I will be returning to work on NeoOffice/J nor OpenOffice.

Good luck with your travels. Stay safe and hopefully you will return home soon. Are you in the military? or is this a contract job? If you don't mind me asking.. |

No problem asking and I think that I can answer that question. I'm a contractor working for the US Military.
I thank all of you for your wishes and prayers for safe travels there and back. I hope nothing happens (I actually enjoy boredom in this case) while I'm there. I hope to be able to access the forums to keep up with what is happening.

Salaama in that construction can mean both "peace" and "safety"; "go with peace", "go with safety." Or really loosely, good-bye and be safe

Will do. I'm getting more information that my trip (or actually entrance to Kuwait) will be a great deal harder than the last trip. Will see what happens when I get there.

Well, the flights were fine. I got some sleep on the Denver-Frankfurt leg and I got rid of a bunch of DM that I had (could not turn in the LARGE amount of coins I had.)
Getting a Visa was no major problem. I went to the Visa Issuing Point and they issued (for free) a three month multi-entry visa. I got disoriented but made it to the baggage area before my bag showed up. It was a quick walk through Customs/Passport control and I was out of the airport.
Traffic during Ramaden is very interesting.....(think of everything that is done during the day is now done at night including traffic jams and accidents.)
Will let the group know when I'm headed back to the U.S.

I've been told to go home, my work is finished. Will let you folks know when I get back and when I can start working on Neo again.

Well, I may be back over here in a little while. The folks in Kuwait were not ready for me to do what I had to do. So, I helped other folks out to finish what they have to do.

Welcome home! But does the earlier message mean you get to go back to Kuwait later (when they are ready for you to do your voodoo)? _________________ "What do you think of Western Civilization?"
