NeoOffice installs his config files, like calc.desktop, into my $HOME/.kde -folder (.kde is a folder from the Linux-KDE-GUI, I've had installed on my Powerbook via "fink").
Is this correct?

I believe the standard OOo also does this - both KDE and GNOME.
