|
I just noticed that "the NeoOffice 2.0 Aqua Beta EAP page" (say that in one breath! ) has the screen shot of ... Aqua Beta!
Compare the two and see what is different!
I will OFFER One "no prize" to the person (other that Patrick and Ed!) who finds the most Aqua items.
I looked at for a while until it dawned on me.
Philip ( waaaaaaaaay Cool - Aqua Cool even! )
\"No Prize" to be delivered with ... No Value, and No Delay!

To anyone interested in Philip's contest, here are two links :
NeoOffice screenshot
and
NeoOffice Aqua Beta screen capture
but I think that if it becomes serious it should be cut from this thread and moved to a new topic in Random Whatnot. |

I've found 10 Aqua items :
- 4 scrollbars;
- 4 drop-down menus;
- 1 set of Aquafied up/down arrows (not part of a scrollbar);
- 1 native filepicker;

I'm looking forward to the progress bars too, which aren't in the screenshots. (I hope aqua beta wil be ShapeShifter-friendly, as it's pretty damn' bright in Aqua )

Far out... it seems to shimmer even when it's static. |

Should we count the Native Filepicker as one item, with
- ? scrollbars
- ? drop-down menus
- ? Aqua fields ...
- ? Aqua buttons
- ? Aqua ... tabs (opps! )

That's what Ed was calling a "spinner" in the thread; it increments or decrements a value.

I think so, since Patrick did not have to code each part of it separately, whereas Ed had to write code for scrollbars, spinners, etc., individually.
I see at least one, maybe 2 items Samwise has yet to mention....

I can see more than 10 items, but this was only intended to start the contest. With enough time and effort, I could find nearly all of them, but then the contest would be more difficult, and this thread would be even less popular than originally planned
Smokey, if you can find more items, then why don't you mention them ? |

I'll throw 4 more in (not counting the filepicker - which I see as one object):
1 aqua-fied selection box drawn around the chosen layout in the Layout Pane
2 aqua-fied program icons
1 aqua-fied tab bar

Smokey | I was calling those (5 ?) items (with the UP/Down arrows) as "drop down menus" as they display a list when you click them.
Maybe the 0.00" is the Spinner and the rest are Drop-down menus??
Now I'm looking for the toonetown wrote: | 2 aqua-fied program icons | Where?!?

Only two of them are visible (but I'm guessing that the writer window has one as well...)
In the Calc and Impress windows, they are the furthest left icon on the top row of the toolbar for each window.
Pretty fancy, huh?
