Congratulations Patrick and Ed (and all you non-code guys) on the public release of Aqua Beta! This is really big step forward for Mac fans of the OpenOffice family and I hope you derive immense satisfaction from what you have been able to do so far. I have been watching this project for a while and you have shown extravagent amounts of technical ingenuity along with boundless (well, almost) patience for user support requests.
No, really, well done guys! And sorry, I'm not hiring
Anyway, that said, what are the plans going forward? Do you have a rough timetable for a final release?

No worries, neither Ed nor I are looking. Both of us turn down lucrative job offers several times a year because, quite frankly, we're not willing to trade the slightly better pay in exchange for killing NeoOffice. After all, NeoOffice is a full-time job and then some and working for someone else precludes diong any serious development and support on NeoOffice.

Not yet. We are still inundated with preparations for NeoOffice @ OOoCon 2006. After that, we'll take a look at what is coming down the pipe from Sun. I expect they'll will be pushing out OOo 2.0.4 in the near future, but given that they rushed out OOo 2.0.3 to cover the security fix, I wouldn't be surprised if they take a little more time before pushing out OOo 2.0.4.
