Nice story dude!
I really enjoyed the dialogue in it. It almost seems like it would read very well as a short stageplay or even a short screenplay. I've written a few short stories myself but my dialogue has always seemed artifical. When I took a stab at screnplays I failed miserably

thanks!
writing is what brought me here in the first place (that whole word processor thingy)
i minored in poetry comp (majored in engineering) but even then rhyme is just out of my grasp. the ones i did write, well, uh, suck. =)
on a side note, the similarites between poetry and code are striking. (discuss)
dialoge can be hard, it is all about the real but not thing.
not much of a musician, though i did make a song with garageband loops =)
