Since it has "W" as the signer and that post came from the same corporate proxy server as the one that you post from, I suspect that your corporate proxy server might be using cached headers instead of the real headers your browser sends to the proxy.

WHOA. All I did was hit reply. So like I'm totally confused. If that's the ISP caching headers, that seems to be a pretty significant security hole...

Update Nope it did it right. So what the hell happened?! I'm not using any unusual web proxy or anything...
Update again Maybe my mouse slipped and I hit EDIT instead of REPLY accidentally??? MacRat, was there a post of yours that was replaced by the one I posted? |

Even after all this time, I find myself hitting the wrong button once every couple of weeks...luckily I catch myself before I rewrite posts 
So that's indeed plausible, if MacRat had another post....

Yeah...I've found myself hitting "Edit" sometimes instead of "Quote" and not previewing. That very well may be what's happening and seems a bit more plausible since I hadn't seen any known problems with phpBB and proxy servers. The login info is stored in cookies 
(incidentally, the icon is supposed to be ROFL. I have no clue where the kicking came from )
