I downloaded OpenOffice installation from the Mac OS X download page and the localizer package. I have trouble installing it. I cannot decompress it. It came as
a huge file ending in .dmg.gz, but neither my registered Stuffit Expander Deluxe nor gunzip programs can decompress it. The file utility says that this file is

Adam-Gasiorowskis-Computer:~/Desktop agquarx$ file ooo103darwingm.dmg.gz
ooo103darwingm.dmg.gz: VAX COFF executable not stripped - version 376

I have no idea what to do with this. Please help!

May be the download wasn't complete? Did you check that you have the file size?

It is a disk image file, open it with Disk Utility
