Dear sir,
All of a sudden all my MS.Office ( XLS / Doc / PPT files showing Zero Bytes. File name and Location everthing is shown as usual but when i open the file. file is completely blank. not in one system in nearly 5 systems.
Can u please suggest us some solution to rectify this problem.
In the Finder, check if the files are aliases. NeoOffice/J (and OpenOffice.org) cannot understand Mac OS X file aliases and all aliases show as 0 bytes.
From your description, it sounds like someone has created Mac OS X file aliases on a shared volume that all 5 computers use. If that is the case, try replacing the file aliases with Unix softlinks. NeoOffice/J can understand Unix softlinks.
