ok, so i set up a mirror of the main and /J sites (without downloads, unfortunatly).
unfortunatly i think a mirror of trinity would be too difficult to maintain because of the database. i do have the ability to set up a forum (already have several phpBB's online) if another is wanted/needed, just let me know.
still working on seeing about mirroring files. the issue ATM is that i could in theory host one build, however, not the build and the source code.
wow, way to pull out one from the archives smokey.
yeah, i could set up a redirect. actually, i should get off my butt and write a script to have it update itself.
as for trinity... i don't see why we couldn't do it ed, just again have to script it so that the db was backed up. though i'd reccommend having my version be a read only version, so there isn't syncing issues later.

edit: damn smokey, i posted that in 2003! how did you find this? lol.
as an update since then, http://neooffice.sixthcrusade.com works too. hmm, under our new naming scheme, does that mean neooffice.neooffice.org would be my mirror?

I was looking for some .htaccess stuff and I knew that Patrick had explained it to people wanting to mirror, so I searched this forum. This was not a good hit for that, but it did find this. And you know what happens when angry Frenchmen see "NeoOffice: OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X"...

That server doesn't exist, so I'd use www.neo for both.

No. You give your server a non-descript subdomain under sixthcrusade.com and, if your Trinity mirror is ever activated, Ed or I will set add an alias in the DNS registry the says trinity.neooffice.org is really xxx.sixthcrusade.com.
