|
FYI. Since I am using ooo-build's newer OOO_BUILD_2_1_7 tag for Neo 2.1 (I used OOO_BUILD_2_1 for Early Access), I did a quick check of the changes that Novell made. Here's are the changed features that I found:
1. The latest WordPerfect support - Neo 2.1 includes libwpd-0.8.8 version 0.8.8 instead of version 0.8.6 that OOo 2.1 ships with.
2. Experimental Microsoft Works support - Neo 2.1 includes libwps version 0.1.0.

That's a nice feature, even if it's only experimental. |

Some "hope" for all the deserted MS Works users. Oh cool.
THANKS Patrick for using an updated code base!
Question? After Neo 2.1 EA, will there be a Final 2.1 Release?
Maybe after a short Beta / RC??

Patrick | Question, Shouldn't NeoOffice (since version 1.2? IIRC ) be listed on http://libwpd.sourceforge.net/?
Wasn't NeoOffice one of the first applications to test and use lipwpd?? IIRC
Philip ( just full of ... questions! )
