|
I've downloaded Iconic for the first time today, and I've realized that it is a much more complex application than I thought.
However, I can't seem to find the source code : does anyone know where it could be ? |

You'd need to contact Brett [berchca here] about that. He has developed the program, virtually re-writing a unix program I think.

I thought that the GPL required you to include the source code along with the executable (which is why I was looking for the source in the zip file). However, I re-read the full license and realized that it isn't necessary, as long as you provide the source code to anyone who demands it. I'll have to contact him then.
Thanks. |

Iconic is written in Tcl/Tk. Therefore, you'll find the source code in the application package since Tcl/Tk is not a compiled language. |

BTW, it still works with 2.1. You just have to change the file paths that point to NeoOffice-2.x to NeoOffice-2.1 and such.
Good luck,
