Hello everybody!
I am a frequent user of NeoOffice, and it's a great app. I mostly use the text editor and often with big documents (school assignments etc.). What bugs me is that navigating with arrows and the ?, optn and ctrl keys works differently compared to the rest of OS X.
For instace:
- The command key
In OS X: Takes you to the end of the line with the left and right arrow keys, and takes you to the top/bottom of the document with the up and down arrow keys.
In NeoOffice: Skips one word left/right with the left/right arrow keys, and moves the active line up/down with the up/down arrow keys.
- The option key:
In OS X: Skips one word left/right with the left/right arrow keys (same as cmd. in NeoOffice), and moves you one line up/down (staying on the brorder of the line) with the up/down keys.
In NeoOffice: Does nothing.
- The control key:
In OS X: Takes you to the end of the line with the right an left arrow keys, and does nothing with the up/down keys.
In NeoOffice: Does nothing.
This is not the end of the world but it would be great if you were able to implement those features in next release. It will make me work even faster!
