Hello!
I'm using the latest version, NeoOffice 2.1 - patch 3, on a macbook. I've written a fairly lengthy paper, and now need to change all my endnotes to footnotes. I've been trying for a few days now, and can't figure it out for the life of me.
I'm certain that I did this using an old version of NeoOffice a couple years ago, but for some reason just can't find the solution. I know the feature is there someplace!
Many thanks in advance to someone who can point me in the right direction. cheers,
-tommy
Well, I suppose I kinda answered my own question. By highlighting just my first end note, I noticed a "footnote" option when I right clicked on the endnote. Selecting this brought up a dialogue box which looked like inserting a new footnote, but with arrows at the bottom. By selecting "footnote" in that box and then clicking the (right) next arrow, it walked me through each of the notes so I could change them all.
It took a little while, but the paper wasn't that long and there were less than 50 notes, so it was fine. I'm sure there's an easier way, but this worked for me this time!

Welcome to NeoOffice mekkon,
Glad you were able to answer your own question.
I don't know of a different, or easier, way to do what you need.
But then I don't write much that needs endnotes or footnotes.
