Dictionaries

I have tried repeatedly to add Russian dictionaries to NeoOffice /J for OSX, but with no success. I have copied the files from OpenOffices site, as well as from an OpenOffice site listed in this mailing list and put the Russian files in the directory /Applications/NeoOffice/Contents/share/dict/ooo/ but they never show up in Options.

I discovered that the owner and permissions on the 2 files was not the same as for all other files in the dictionary directory so I changed them to the same owner/group and permissions (444) as all other files, but still they did not show up. Normally what I have done would work with OpenOffice (I have done this many times before) but does not work now. Any ideas?

Did you uncomment or add the Russian entries in the /Applications/NeoOffice/Contents/share/dict/ooo/dictionary.lst file?

If so, have you set the default language for documents in Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Languages -> Default Languages for Documents?
