I wasn't sure where to put this, since it's not a NeoOffice bug (same behaviour in OOo 2.3), but I thought it was a curious one (I've posted it in qa at OOo).
In Writer, if I have my cursor in a table cell and choose Delete Column from the floating toolbar, it deletes that column - unless the doc I'm in is an imported .doc, in which case it deletes the entire table, sigh...
I'm posting this here first because I'm not clear who it is that develops the Word importer, so I don't know with whom to file the bug - is it a special branch of OOo, i.e. should they be told separately?

Are you seeing this with a .doc file or a .docx file? The old-school .doc importers are OOo. If it's a bug with a .docx import right now it's in odf-converter and may be something we can address.
If it's a .doc file and is the same in 2.3 then it's prob. an OOo issue. ooo-build and us don't generally touch the .doc importers as they're pretty stable.
