Well, that is not really a problem, as only the newest (built for mac os x) applications seem to have such icons. Older apps like AppleWorks also lack them, so most people won't even notice the icons should be there...
Oh, and one more thing!

And with the menu patch, i can install Neo/J on every non-geek owned mac without explaining the background of Neo/J... Well done!

Watch out, though, since the current patch has issues with it. Patrick and I have been fixing a number that have cropped up and are filed in IZ or reported here. Printing, for example, is broken in the current Aqua menu patch that's up. Hopefully most all of the issues will be ironed out soon. For users who really need something stable, definitely use the non-aqua menu patch for the time being.

NeoOffice does nearly everything I need (apart from some true MS Office .doc translations) and this Auqa patch is great. Too bad about the printing bug. Any timeframe to the next patch? Also great job on Alpha2!

The time frame on the next patch is really Patrick's call on when he feels enough stuff has been addressed and it's stable enough. There are definitely still some outstanding bugs and crashes in IZ. I know I've been investigating some of the font bugs and seeing if I can make headway.
first of all, thanks for this : I have downloaded 1.1 which was very interesting and this aqua patch brings nice improvement.
Then, as I use it in French, the french translation is very good.
Finally, I 've also got this printing bug, not when I print directly from the button but when I want to make changes in the print menus.
