|
I have been trying out OpenOffice for a while now after using Neooffice. I really like the Neooffice stability but I really like the opening screen of OpenOffice. 95% of the time, I use a spreadsheet. I really hate having to open a document to close and then create a spreadsheet. Is it at-all possible to pen to a spreadsheet or better-yet, to a wizard like OpenOffice? |

BTW, I forgot to mention that the option at the very bottom of the NeoWiki article - NOMu - is one of the more popular options.

Note that if you change the name of the NeoOffice application for any reason (e.g. by adding a version number to it), NOMu can no longer see it. I'm not sure whether NOMu supports NeoOffice installed elsewhere than the /Applications folder.
This is probably not relevant to the original poster of this thread, but you never know...

Although we don't have access to the NOMu source code, this is fixable. We could use the same NeoOffice location detection code that we use in the patch installer.
