I can't upload a screen shot (iphone doesn't do that ) but the main forums page when viewed in iPhone safari, the forums with long descriptions display titles/descriptions in large point size, the others really small.

I've noticed the same kinda thing on a few websites. The iphone's browser isn't exactly perfect!

That definitely looks like a bug in iPhone's browser as our HTML is using the same CSS style for all headings and the same for all descriptions.

That said, I doubt that the PHPNuke software that we are using helps as it is littered with tons of HTML validation errrors. This is one of the bad things about open source: some software can really have a lot cruft in it.

Hah, had to look up 'cruft' (over here, it's a dog show ) - html/css is a bugger, my Collins-Robert French-English Dictionary uses it and some of the panel fonts don't change size when the others do. I hope one day there'll be a more standardised markup language.

I don't standards are the issue. The issue is sloppy HTML writing. From what I have seen, few HTML authors ever run their HTML through a validator to catch their errors. Instead, they rely on the browser to catch their HTML errors and handle them gracefully.
