|
Well, I am a little quiet now because I know that NeoOffice will not drop PPC or Tiger support for some time to come. But If it is not a lot of trouble, I have two other doubts.
1. Why NeoOffice does not include the NIB files into the application package as many other Mac OS X applications? and...
2. I remember that in NeoOffice 2.2.2 and NeoOffice 2.2.3 the gallery window appeared as a normal window (rounded titlebar corners and titlebar a little widest) but in NeoOffice 2.2.4 and NeoOffice 2.2.5 the gallery window appeared as a utility window-panel only window (straight titlebar corners and titlebar a little narrowest). My question is, why does the gallery window changed about these points in the past versions? and how is going to appear the gallery window in NeoOffice 3.0 as a normal window or as a utility window-panel only window?
-------------------------------------------
I hope you understand my doubts. And I want to say that I question in the same topic of NeoOffice Spanish Translations so do not create another topic just for two or three questions. _________________ -Samuel -

I moved your post to a separate topic for two reasons:
1) two or three questions are enough to warrant a topic;
2) your questions are more visible in the NeoOffice Support forum, which is better since other people might like to know the answers too. |

For (1), OOo and Neo do not use Cocoa and InterfaceBuilder for their widget system, so there are no NIB files. OOo & Neo use a custom framework known as StarView for windows as OOo is a legacy product and codebase.
For (2), they will appear as utility windows in 3.0.

Thank you Samwise for moving my questions to this forum.
And thanks Openstep to explain me those two points. _________________ -Samuel -
