Hmm. The second time someone has reported knowing Fran in another location.
Is Fran involved in a secret life? |

You're probably thinking of Oscar (ovvldc), though in his case it's Utrecht Hope you're having a relaxing evening after the long hard day |
Amsterdam is good for that (and I am not talking about lighting up). If you can get out of the immediate centre, where nearly all the places to relax are a tourist trap..
Best wishes,

Additionally, it seems every forum I saw this ID on had 3 posts. And the forum software seemed similar to what Trinity is running.
I'm wondering if they are sniffing for this forum software and/or have an automated system for creating ID/posts.
Time to ban India altogether? |

That's potentially banning 1/6th of the world's population... Not a very friendly move.
Best wishes,

While most of the forum spammers are currently coming from IP addresses in India and Vietnam, my gut feeling is that this type of spamming will be expanding in the near future.
My guess is that this type of spamming is the modern variation of the "earn $X per hour stuffing envelopes from your home" routine that was routinely advertised in magazines in the pre-Internet days.
My guess my turn out to be flat-out wrong, but I am seeing lots of "earn $XXX from home with your computer" type of ads. Like the old stuffing envelopes plan, you pay someone to get your "startup kit". Back in the old days it was a manual telling you to send out bulk mailings so it does not seem far fetched that today's startup kit is a set of steps for blasting out forum spam for someone else.

I've been hearing lots of these ads lately, too, and had exactly the same thought as you.

Just deleted a post from user washington678, IP 203.210.196.177 (Vietnam). A "congratulatory" post on an old thread, complete with hidden link.
