Although I think the last test patch fixed this bug, I found that my fix was a bit too cautious and, as a result, my overcautious fix disables some menus like the View :: Toolbars menu.
So, I have tweaked my fix so that it doesn't inadvertently disable some menus. However, since we cannot reproduce this bug on any of our machines, can those few donors who are experiencing this bug install the following test patch and confirm that the crashing bug is still fixed?:

For GridLox, here is the Terminal commands that will download the test patch to your Desktop:
Code: | cd ~/Desktop
curl -O http://joe.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-3.2-Patch-0-Test-2-Intel.dmg |

FYI. I have included the fix for this bug in NeoOffice 3.2 Patch 1. You can download the patch from the NeoOffice 3.2 patch download page.

The patch works fine on my system. Neo doesn't crash any more when I click on the help button in the top menu bar. Also I don't miss any menu entries as you descried. I haven't had the time to check every thing but I think the patch is good. |

KeineAhnung,
Thank you for confirming that the NeoOffice 3.2 Patch 1 fixes this bug.
GridLox,
If you are unable to download the patch because our website says that you are not a Mac, does using the cURL workaround described in this forum topic allow you to download NeoOffice 3.2 Patch 1?

FYI. I have implemented some changes so that now browsers that act like they are not Mac browsers can download NeoOffice and any patches. You will still get a warning that "you might not be able to install the patch", but download from our website should now work after the warning.
