We are continually working to improve the usefulness of NeoOffice Mobile for our users and as part of the on-going work, we have released new versions of the NeoOffice Mobile application for the following devices:
- Version 1.4 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 3.2 or higher
- Version 1.1 for Android devices running Android 2.2 or higher
These new versions include fixes for minor bugs in the Back button and include a new Cancel button that allows users to avoid wasting their device's expensive bandwidth. By pressing the new Cancel button any page or file downloads in progress will be cancelled immediately.
If you have an iOS device, you can find the new version of the NeoOffice Mobile application by searching for "NeoOffice Mobile" in the App Store application on your iOS device.
If you have an Android device, you can find the new version of the NeoOffice Mobile application by searching for "NeoOffice Mobile" in the Market application on your Android device.

Recently, we looked at the storage and bandwidth costs that we pay Amazon S3 and the data center that hosts our webservers and like we found when we last looked at these costs, the costs of running NeoOffice Mobile were significantly less than we expected. Since donations from NeoOffice Mobile users help subsidize part of our NeoOffice download site costs, we would like to thank those donors by passing on our cost savings to NeoOffice Mobile users.
Effective immediately, NeoOffice Mobile accounts will have the following storage and renewal date changes. Please note that you may need to log out and log back into your NeoOffice Mobile account for the expanded storage and extended expiration date to appear in your account:
Changes to free accounts
- 100 megabytes of documents can now be stored in your account instead of only 10 megabytes
- Documents in your account now expire after 30 days instead of after only 7 days
Changes for US$10 donor accounts
- 1 gigabyte of documents can now be stored in your account instead of only 100 megabytes
- Documents in your account now expire after a year instead of after only 90 days
Changes for US$25 donor accounts
- 2.5 gigabytes of documents can now be stored in your account instead of only 100 megabytes
Changes for US$100 donor accounts
- 10 gigabytes of documents can now be stored in your account instead of only 100 megabytes

On 31 October 2013 we will permanently shut down NeoOffice Mobile. We will permanently delete all documents on that date so we recommend that you download copies of your NeoOffice Mobile documents before 31 October 2013.
Over the 4 years that we have been running NeoOffice Mobile, the number of actual NeoOffice Mobile users has always been below the number needed to make our development and maintenance effort worthwhile.
To ensure that NeoOffice Mobile users are able to download copies of their NeoOffice Mobile documents before 31 October 2013, we have made the following changes to all free and paid NeoOffice Mobile accounts:
All expired documents have been restored and the expiration date for all documents has been extended to 31 October 2013
All previous versions for each document can now be downloaded
Because data security and privacy is very important to us, immediately after we shut down NeoOffice Mobile on 31 October 2013, we will physically delete all NeoOffice Mobile documents and accounts from all of our servers and from Amazon S3. We have zero reason to store your documents or accounts once NeoOffice Mobile is shut down. So, after 31 October 2013, your documents and accounts will not be recoverable by either you or us.

As announced on 5 September 2013, we permanently shut down NeoOffice Mobile on 31 October 2013. All accounts and documents in NeoOffice Mobile have been permanently deleted and are not recoverable.
Because data security and privacy is very important to us and because we have no valid reason to store your documents or accounts now that NeoOffice Mobile is shut down, we physically deleted all NeoOffice Mobile documents and accounts from all of our servers and from Amazon S3 immediately after we shut down NeoOffice Mobile.
