Grid lines display on my spreadsheet but I couldn't find any way to have them print. Actually, I want just the vertical ones to print, but I can't figure out any way to alter the fact that none of them print. This must be simple. Environment: Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). NeoOffice 3.2.1 Patch 5

The grid-lines are for your use when working on the document. But you can add cell borders in just about any configuration.
Select the cells you want to have borders
Go to the Format menu
Choose Cells
Click on the Borders tab
Set the borders as desired. |

Thanks, Lorinda. That's what I was missing. (I still don't see a way to print just vertical lines, but that's not critical at the moment.) |

One way to add vertical lines between columns using border is to press the select the Edit :: Select All menu and then select the Format :: Cells menu. Like in Lorinda's steps, click on the Borders tab. But this time click on the area in the following screen snapshot that I have circled in red and press the OK button. Doing this should add a vertical border on the right edge of each cell in your spreadsheet.
