Installed Patch 0 Test 7 and the PgUp and PgDn keys now work as expected.
I attach a short video of scrolling the menu after going right through it and back again with PgUp and PgDn. It still stutters a bit sometimes, but I don't think its too bad now. Anyway the video is for your information and not me demanding a fix!
Can I just check one more thing. The Combo Box will accept any text as a font name and apply it to the selected text, even if that font does not exist on the system (say "Times Old Codger"). Is that expected behaviour?
Cheers,

This is normal behavior. After all, if you open a document created in another application or by another person, there might be a font name in the document that does not exist on your machine so NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org code cannot restrict what goes into that combobox and, instead, the OpenOffice.org code will try to find a real font to use by finding the closest matching real font name to whatever is in the combobox.

And if you don't like whatever the OOo code's choice happens to be, you can go to the Fonts preferences and set up a font mapping for it to apply, e.g. to use 'Lucida Blackletter' every place the document calls for 'Times Old Codger'.
(There's also a way to specify a set of fonts in the combobox, like CSS font-face list; I think it's via semi-colons, but I can't remember--and don't remember in which documents I've seen it before so I could check.)

FYI. I have included the fix for the Page Up and Page Down key bug in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta Patch 1. You can download the patch from the NeoOffice 3.3 Beta patch download page.
