Thanks for the tip, it's good to know the splash can change size if needed. However I think I've got things rejigged at the same size. Balance of the elements feels ok to me.
Let me know if the attached is ok and I can package it up in the coming days, or make changes. |

I really like your latest splash image. I think it looks very smooth and clean.
Whenever you post a new package, I will put the new splash image in both the next NeoOffice 3.3 patch as well as the next NeoOffice Secure Edition build.

Should the Secure Edition say that in the splash screen, or is that too much of a hint of another version outside the app store?
Or maybe you don't want to draw attention to the non-secure version for another reason? Just thinking out loud... _________________ "What do you think of Western Civilization?"

Good point. I honestly didn't think of that so we probably need Daniel to create 2 separate files:
1. intro.bmp that says "NeoOffice(R)"
2. intro_secure.bmp that says "NeoOffice(R) Secure Edition"
Also, the an "about_secure.bmp" with "NeoOffice(R) Secure Edition" is needed as well. Note: "Secure Edition" can be on a separate line and the about_secure.bmp height's can be increased if necessary.
I can then have the NeoOffice Secure Edition build extract the intro_secure.bmp and about_secure.bmp (or whatever Daniel wants to call them).
Daniel: is the above feasible and reasonable?

Both images look good to me. Thanks for all your work as well as your design ideas.

The package looks good except for one small detail: there are no matching PSD files for the about_secure.bmp and the intro_secure.bmp files. Is it possible to add those 2 missing PSD files to the package?

The secure versions exist within the regular PSDs as alternative layers that can be made visible when the PSD is opened for editing, so that you can toggle between Standard and Secure Edition within the same Photoshop document. Is that ok or do you need them broken out into separate files? |

FYI. Apple has announced on their website that Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks is "coming this fall" so we are planning on releasing a new version of NeoOffice this fall as well (NeoOffice 3.3 without any patches won't run on Mac OS X 10.9 so we need to release a new version that will essentially be NeoOffice 3.3 plus the latest patch).
If any of you want to update your respective icon or image packages, let us know and I can include them in the next NeoOffice release.
