Hi,
this is prob no big secret but wouldnt it be great if Apple would
throw in some support to development of Openoffice on OSX.
Clearly they woould have interest in seeing a strong non-M$
office suite running on their os.

Bunkers,
Openoffice is THE threat to M$, that is the opensource project
that will bring them to their knees just wait and watch.
Apple should see this and add openoffice to their default install.
Europe is going openoffice very very quickly at the moment and
judging from M$'s behaviour they are shaking their pants.
iWorks is not a threat to OO and vice versa... |

Yes that's right about Europe, I put there links about states organizations in France that are using or planing to use OOo instead of M$ and you'll see there are a lot !
M$ is becoming to die in French and German administrations while they made the licence for M$ Office at 30 € ! |

Apple has ZERO interest in seeing OOo work well. THEY want to provide an office app that gives them an advantage. And even if they did help, that help would probably turn out to be useless for anything but their own aims (see: Safari and KHTML as an example). |
