Hello everyone.
I've been following this project for a while, and i'm using it for my office needs in os x. I'm concerned about the need of more people that can help the project, so i decided to offer my programming skills. I'm not a experienced Java/C++ developer but i think i can help, specially in small bugs or things that can be easily fixed, so the main developers have more free time for more important features.
Also, i've been reading about obtaining sources and building NeoOffice/J and have a question about the amount of memory needed to build NeoOffice/J since i've 384 mb in my ibook g3, it would be enough to build it?
It would be great to receive some advice on how to start approaching the proyect.

Welcome! It's good that someone with some coding skills is concerned about the need for more people who can help code (we're all concerned about that, but most of us have no coding skills )

If you haven't seen already, Ed has spent some time to write up some specs for small projects that might be good starting points for new developers.

My guess is that the G3 in your iBook is going to be more of a limitation than memory (not being a developer, I don't know why 512 is the magic number), as pulling and building the OOo sources which are the base for Neo/J currently takes between 24 and 36 hours on a G4....
