Edward, can we use the first part of your last post in the Press Kit for the upcoming 1.1 release?

BTW, I've tried turning off the auto-complete feature, but it won't obey the command.

Anyway, never mind, that's enough from me. Good night.

Have you tried repeating this since generating a new preferences folder? It could be that the setting wasn't sticking previously because there was (apparently) something at fault in your old NeoOfficeJ_1.1 folder. I suspect that it will probably behave now.

FWIW, the original macro posted may also work now.

Indeed, you are right: I've turned off the auto-complete, and it stays turned off.

I almost mentioned that last night, but I was under the impression that the autocorrect issue cropped up after the new prefs Smile Oh well; glad it's working. (I once had a similar issue where Neo/J would no longer auto-replace quotes even though it was enabled and ended up having to trash my prefs. I wish I knew more about which file in the folder controlled what so that "precision trashing" would become an option in some cases....)
