Even though Aqua L&F is the best L&F available on Java, it still possesses a number of inconsistencies compared to the native UI. Thus, it might be worth it to consider the Cocoa-Java binding. With it, we can also compile neo-office using GCC (or rather GCJ) into native binaries to reduce mem usage (although due to the bad implementation of GC in GCJ, the GCJ compiled binary would be slow).
On the other hand, we can use Quaqua (a patch L&F for Aqua) to solve many of the inconsistencies in Aqua L&F.
