On this site http://ftp.stardiv.de/pub/OpenOffice.org/contrib/MacOSX/is possible to download an 1.9.128 version of OOo2 that works with both panter and tiger.
File comes as an *.zip file and after expanding it is a single *.pkg file. Installation goes to Application --> OpenOffice.org 1.9.128 and in that directory there is also an icon to launch our suite without third-party-software.
